Uploading Images

Drag and Drop: Simply drag an image file from your computer and drop it into the upload area on the left side.

Browse Files: Click the "Browse Files" button to select an image from your device.

Paste from Clipboard: Press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) to paste a screenshot directly from your clipboard.

Converting Images

After uploading an image, click the "Convert" button to extract text from the image using OCR technology.

The conversion process preserves:

• Font colors from the original image
• Font sizes for each portion of text
• Bold text formatting
• Text spacing and indentation
• Graphics and images at their exact positions

The converted text will appear in the rich text editor on the right side.

Working with Converted Text

Rich Text Editor: The converted text appears in a rich text editor where you can view and edit the formatted content.

Formatting Preserved: Font colors, sizes, bold text, and spacing are all maintained from the original image.

Copying Text

Copy As Rich Text: Copies the text with all formatting (colors, sizes, bold) preserved. Perfect for pasting into Word, Google Docs, or other rich text editors.

Copy As Plain Text: Copies only the text content without any formatting.

Convert To Black: Converts all text to black color while preserving spacing and indentation.

Clearing Content

Click the "Clear All" button in the upper right corner to remove both the uploaded image and converted text, allowing you to start fresh.

Tips & Best Practices

For best results, use clear, high-resolution images with good contrast between text and background.

The OCR works best with standard fonts and clear text. Handwritten text may have lower accuracy.

Complex layouts with multiple columns may require manual adjustment after conversion.

Graphics and images detected in the screenshot will be preserved and displayed inline with the text.
