You can upload images in three ways:

• Click "Browse Files" and select an image from your computer
• Drag and drop an image file into the upload area
• Press Ctrl+V (or Cmd+V on Mac) to paste from your clipboard

We support all common image formats including:

• PNG (.png)
• JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg)
• GIF (.gif)
• WebP (.webp)
• BMP (.bmp)

After conversion, you have three copy options:

• Copy Rich Text: Preserves all formatting (colors, sizes, bold)
• Copy Plain Text: Copies text without formatting
• Convert To Black: Converts all text to black while preserving spacing

Both tabs provide OCR conversion, but with different approaches:

• Text Tab: Uses traditional OCR (Tesseract) for fast, accurate text extraction with formatting preservation
• AI-Enhanced Tab: Uses advanced AI technology to enhance accuracy and intelligently format complex layouts like tables and lists

OCR accuracy can be affected by several factors:

• Low image resolution or quality
• Poor contrast between text and background
• Handwritten or stylized fonts
• Rotated or skewed text

For best results, use high-resolution images with clear, printed text.

Yes, your data security is our top priority:

• All uploads are transmitted via HTTPS encryption
• Images are processed server-side and deleted after conversion
• We don't store your images or converted text long-term
• No data is shared with third parties
